The IJS seal depicts its three main functions as a triad consisting of the Journal Integrity Score or JIS, which represents the process of submitting a manuscript, the True Impact Function or TIF, which represents outcome depending upon how the journal is led and the requirements imposed on authors, and Ethics Review and Mediation, which represents the accountability of authors, reviewers, editors and publishers. Together, this combined triad of functions forms the complete mission of IJS, which is Scientific Publishing Integrity - the process, the outcome, and the accountability.
